Ebba Busch led the Christian Democrats into the Tidö cooperation and became Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Energy, Business and Industry in the Kristersson cabinet after the 2022 election.
Ebba Busch is the Christian Democratic politician who brought Kristdemokraterna into the Tidö-era right bloc. After the 2022 election, KD signed Tidö Agreement 2022 with the Moderates, Liberals and Sweden Democrats, and Busch entered the Kristersson cabinet as Deputy Prime Minister and minister responsible for energy, business and industry.
Her significance on this site is mainly structural: she marks KD’s move from a smaller value-conservative party into one of the parties anchoring the right bloc’s law-and-order, energy and migration agenda after 2022.
